A lovely man, a great and loyal friend. Highly principled, strong minded and generous with a tremendous sense of fun and huge enjoyment in life. Dave brought me comfort after the death of my husband sharing memories of their long friendship and some years later brought me laughter and enjoyment in sharing his love of singing with my partner, Robin, passing on some great songs which will always make us think of him.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
